Log Splitters for Sale
Timberwolf designs, engineers, fabricates, and produces several heavy-duty log splitters, ranging from our small log splitter, the TW-2, to the TW-10, our biggest log splitter made to produce manageable wood for a log processing machine.
We offer gas-powered log splitters with Honda engines, as well as PTO-driven splitters, to better fit our customers' needs. Our Alpha Series wood splitters are our top-of-the-line commercial log splitters, recommended by firewood professionals across North America.
Whether it be a small log splitter for around the house or a commercial wood splitter for the job site, we have what you need.

Small Log Splitters for Personal Use
If you are new to the firewood industry or just don't want to break the bank on new equipment, look no further than our TW Series firewood splitters.
The TW Series currently consists of the TW-2 and TW-3 3-point log splitter.
These home log splitters have commercial-grade features, like plate steel constructed frames, and optional add-ons like a 4-Way Wedge, table grate, and/or a log lift.
The TW-2 is a gas-powered log splitter, while the TW-3 is a PTO-driven hydraulic wood splitter, so you have options based on your needs. Already have a tractor? Go with the TW-3. Want to split wood at home? Get the TW-2 and let your bonfires be the talk of the neighborhood.

Ergonomic Log Splitters Built to Last
Timberwolf's HD Series wood splitters are currently made up of the TW-2 HD, TW-3 HD, and TW-5 HD.
HD Series ergonomic log splitters feature a heavy-duty frame, a large hydraulic tank to ensure the fluid is always cool and filtered, a valve cover to protect hoses and fittings from weathering, and a 3' tall operator's platform, so operators won't have to hunch over while splitting. These heavy-duty log splitters also come standard with a hydraulic wedge lift and a hydraulic log lift.
Similar to the TW Series, the TW-3 HD is a 3-point log splitter while the TW-2 HD and TW-5 HD are gas log splitters. Each of these heavy-duty log splitters can be equipped with a 4" or 5" cylinder, the 4" offering a quicker cycle time while the 5" offers more splitting force.

Fastest Commercial Log Splitters
Our Alpha Series firewood splitters consist of the Alpha 5 and Alpha 6. These heavy-duty log splitters come standard with a hydraulic wedge lift and hydraulic log lift capable of loading 500-pound blocks.
Offering cycle times low as 5 seconds and as much as 58,905 pounds of splitting force, Alpha Series log splitters are certainly fast, but our Box Wedge makes our commercial log splitters the fastest way to split firewood.
Available in 3 different sizes, our Box Wedge consistently produces uniformly-sized logs. A floating auto-retract arm comes with our Box Wedge. The auto-retract arm pulls back the unsplit portion of the log onto the splitting chamber without any operator interference.
Coupled with a hydraulic log and wedge lift, Timberwolf's Box Wedge log splitters are sure to produce big results.

4" Cylinder vs 5" Cylinder
Several Timberwolf wood splitters have the option of being equipped with a 4" or 5" hydraulic cylinder, like the TW-5 HD and the Alpha 5.
The 4" cylinder drives a quicker cycle time than the 5" cylinder, but with less splitting force, while the 5" cylinder provides a higher splitting force with a slower cycle time.
For example, the TW-3 HD 3-point log splitter has an 8-second cycle time with 37,700 pounds of splitting force when equipped with the 4" cylinder, and a 10-second cycle time with 58,905 pounds of splitting force when equipped with the 5" cylinder.
If you plan on splitting large blocks and cycle time isn't a huge concern for you, the 5" cylinder is the way to go. If you want to maximize your cord output and know you will be working with smaller logs, the 4" cylinder will work wonders for your firewood processing operation.
