  • The Timberwolf Pro-LP is a compact commercial firewood processor engineered to deliver professional performance for homeowners, farm operations, and growing firewood businesses. Developed through years of engineering and field testing, the Pro-LP combines commercial-grade construction with user-friendly operation to create a firewood processing machine that offers exceptional value, productivity, and reliability. Whether you're producing firewood for personal use or selling seasoned firewood commercially, the Pro-LP provides the power and efficiency needed to increase production without investing in a large industrial processor.
  • At the heart of the Pro-LP is the legendary 22 HP Honda GX700 EFI engine, delivering dependable performance, excellent fuel efficiency, and easy starting in all weather conditions. Operating at 3,600 RPM, this commercial-grade engine powers the circular saw with ease, allowing operators to process logs up to 16 inches in diameter while supplying the hydraulic power needed to split hardwoods through a heavy-duty 6-way wedge. For operators requiring additional horsepower and higher production capacity, the Pro-LP XL and Pro-LP XL Diesel upgrade to a 24.9 HP engine with increased hydraulic performance for demanding commercial firewood production.
  • The Pro-LP utilizes a proven 18 GPM high-pressure hydraulic system designed for long service life and minimal maintenance. By keeping the hydraulic system simple, with fewer components and limited electronics, the processor delivers dependable day-after-day performance while reducing potential downtime and repair costs. Timberwolf's exclusive engineered beam splitting technology further enhances durability by efficiently transferring splitting forces through the machine, resulting in smoother operation and years of reliable commercial use.
  • A large, oversized hydraulic oil reservoir helps maintain optimal operating temperatures during continuous production. Even during extended operation on hot summer days, the hydraulic oil remains at approximately 140°F without requiring an auxiliary oil cooler. Eliminating the need for an external cooling system removes a common maintenance item while improving long-term reliability and allowing operators to spend more time processing firewood instead of servicing equipment.
  • The hydraulic wedge lift and tool-free wedge change system make it easy to produce consistently sized, market-ready firewood. Operators can quickly adjust wedge height or change wedge configurations in seconds, allowing the processor to efficiently handle a variety of log diameters and customer requirements. Producing uniform firewood not only increases productivity but also improves product quality, helping firewood businesses maximize profitability and build repeat customers.
  • One of the Pro-LP's greatest advantages is its portability. Weighing less than 3,300 pounds, this towable firewood processor can be transported by nearly any half-ton pickup or suitable towing vehicle, making it an ideal solution for rental fleets, mobile firewood processing businesses, tree services, and contractors. The compact footprint allows operators to access tight job sites while still delivering commercial-level output. Combined with the standard hydraulic deck lift and the ability to process logs up to 16 inches in diameter, the Pro-LP is completely self-contained and requires no tractor or additional power source, allowing operators to begin processing firewood almost immediately upon arrival.
  • Unlike many hydraulic clamping systems that add cost, complexity, and maintenance, the Pro-LP utilizes a highly effective mechanical top roll clamping system that securely controls each log throughout the cutting and advancing process. This proven design maintains excellent log control while reducing maintenance requirements and increasing processing speed. When paired with the integrated last-cut length visualizer, ergonomic operator controls, and regenerative hydraulic valves, the Pro-LP delivers production levels that rival much larger firewood processors in its horsepower class.
  • Designed for efficient one-person operation, the Pro-LP allows a single operator to produce impressive volumes of firewood with minimal assistance. Under average operating conditions using logs approximately 12 feet long, experienced operators can produce roughly one cord of finished firewood every 45 minutes, depending on wood species, log quality, and material handling. This level of productivity makes the Pro-LP an outstanding choice for businesses looking to maximize output while minimizing labor costs.
  • The Timberwolf Pro-LP delivers an exceptional combination of commercial performance, portability, and long-term value. Fully equipped, it represents a significant investment in your firewood business, but one designed to provide years of dependable service and consistent profitability. Capable of producing more than 10 cords of firewood during an eight-hour workday under favorable conditions, the Pro-LP is built with the rugged simplicity and durability that Timberwolf equipment is known for. Whether you're entering the firewood industry or expanding an established operation, the Pro-LP is a commercial firewood processor built to produce high-quality firewood efficiently, reliably, and season after season.

New Pro-LP XL & Pro-LP XL Diesel Firewood Processors

Introducing the newest additions to the Timberwolf firewood processor lineup—the Pro-LP XL and Pro-LP XL Diesel. Designed for operators who demand higher production, greater hydraulic performance, and increased efficiency, these next-generation commercial firewood processors build upon the proven Pro-LP platform with more power, larger components, and standard features that maximize daily output.

The Pro-LP XL is powered by a 24.9 HP Honda GX800 electronic fuel-injected (EFI) V-Twin engine, delivering exceptional fuel efficiency, instant starting, and reliable performance in all operating conditions. For operators who prefer diesel power, the Pro-LP XL Diesel features a 24.9 HP Hatz three-cylinder diesel engine, offering outstanding torque, low fuel consumption, and the durability required for demanding commercial firewood production. Both engines provide the horsepower needed to effortlessly process logs up to 16 inches in diameter while maintaining smooth, consistent operation throughout the workday.

To take full advantage of the increased engine power, the XL Series is equipped with a heavy-duty hydraulic system featuring a 4-inch hydraulic splitting cylinder and a dual-pump hydraulic system that delivers fast cycle times without sacrificing splitting force. This combination provides the speed required for high-volume firewood processing while maintaining the power needed to split difficult hardwoods through a multi-way wedge.

Every Pro-LP XL and Pro-LP XL Diesel comes standard with a 10-foot integrated firewood conveyor, allowing finished firewood to be discharged directly into trailers, trucks, bins, or neatly stacked piles. By eliminating the need to manually move split firewood away from the processor, the conveyor significantly improves production efficiency while reducing operator fatigue. The conveyor folds for convenient transport and is built to withstand years of commercial use.

The XL models also feature an extended hydraulic live deck mounted to a full-frame chassis. Designed to hold multiple logs at once, the live deck provides a continuous supply of timber to the processor, reducing loading interruptions and keeping production moving.
