      Assembly Technician

      (entry level- no experience necessary- on the job training) Marathon, NY

      We are seeking Assembly Technicians for our Marathon, NY location.

      The successful candidate will be taught how to perform the following tasks|

      • Inspect parts to ensure quality prior to assembly
      • Identify parts to ensure proper items are used for the build
      • Build hydraulic hoses
      • Install components on the machines correctly
      • Torque bolts to proper specifications
      • Inspect finished machine and test to ensure proper operations for customer
      • Safely operate forklift

      Welder

      (entry level- no experience necessary- on the job training) Marathon, NY

      The successful candidate will be will be taught how to perform the following tasks|

      • Set up MIG welders in accordance with the materials being fused
      • Read blue prints
      • Inspect parts prior to weld
      • Tack pieces in accordance to the blue print
      • Apply appropriate welds in the correct locations paying attention to fit, penetration and durability
      • Inspect parts to ensure fir in accordance with blue print
      • Safely operate forklift
      • Maintain welding equipment
      • Hours are Monday through Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 with overtime available on Fridays
      • Vacation Pay after 3 months

        Welder

          CNC Programmer/Machinist

          Syracuse, NY
          Automated Biomass Systems, LLC recently opened a branch facility in Syracuse, NY that is dedicated to the development of a hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components for use in mobile equipment applications. ABS is seeking CNC Programmer for 1st shift work on CNC mills and lathes. As a member of the Component Development Group, you will be expected to work as a member of a team while taking on the challenge of a precision machining environment.

          Expectations|

          • 5+ years of experience in machine shop setting
          • CAD/CAM proficiency
          • Familiarity with programming/setting up 3-axis mills and lathes with Live Tooling
          • Functional understanding of tooling selection for variety of steel, aluminum, and plastic materials
          • Knowledge of precision measurement and inspection methods
          • Work with Engineering and Production Teams regarding product or process improvements that are necessary for production output
          • Navigate CAD, read blueprints and determine via best practices how to machine parts for custom and production run parts
          • Program, organize and maintain code for all parts
          • First run responsibilities on all new programs to verify safe and effective setup procedures
          • Manage a team of Machine Operators to deliver timely and accurate parts
          • Organize and maintain tooling for mills and lathes
          • Design of fixtures and jigs as necessary
          • Maintain a safe and clean workspace

          Requirements|


          • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
          • Hours are Monday through Friday
