Gratitude and Growth: A Thanksgiving Message from Timberwolf

Gratitude and Growth: A Thanksgiving Message from Timberwolf

As the leaves crunch underfoot and the scent of woodsmoke drifts through the air, we can’t help but reflect on what we’re most thankful for this season. Spoiler alert: it’s you — our loyal customers, partners, and friends in the firewood community!

From small-scale operators stacking their first cords to seasoned pros running full processing setups, your continued trust and support have kept our saws spinning and our spirits high. Thanks to you, we’ve been able to expand our partnerships with other great businesses, branch out into new locations, and keep innovating the tools that help you get the job done — efficiently, safely, and maybe even with a grin.

Let’s face it — running a firewood business (or even just cutting your own for the season) isn’t always easy. It takes grit, passion, and a good sense of humor when Mother Nature decides to turn a sunny afternoon into a snowstorm. But it’s also one of the most rewarding ways to connect with nature, stay active, and enjoy the simple satisfaction of a well-stacked woodpile.

So while we’re giving thanks this season, we also want to celebrate you — the hardworking folks who appreciate the outdoors, the smell of fresh-cut wood, and the satisfaction of warming homes (and hearts) all winter long.

Here are a few fun ideas for a Thanksgiving weekend filled with fresh air, family time, and a little giving back:

💛 Volunteer Together: Spread warmth in more ways than one — donate firewood to a local family in need, help out at a community event, or spend a few hours lending a hand at a nearby shelter. A little kindness goes a long way (and it’s a great excuse to get outside again).
🔥 Campfire Cook-Off: Trade the turkey for a Dutch oven dinner or fire-grilled feast. Bonus points for anyone who can roast marshmallows without setting them ablaze.
🚶 Post-Feast Forest Walk: Nothing beats a crisp autumn hike to walk off that second (or third) slice of pie.
🪵 Nature-Inspired Craft: Spend time being creative with your loved ones. Here's a craft idea for after your walk: Autumn Mason Jar Lanterns.

Here’s to warm fires, strong partnerships, and exciting growth in the year ahead.

From our family to yours — Happy Thanksgiving, and may your woodpiles be tall and your coffee mugs full.
