- Our top-of-the-line commercial log splitter, the Alpha 6 is capable of producing up to 2 cords of uniform-sized firewood per hour. This heavy-duty wood splitter is powered by a 22.1 HP Honda GX700 engine that offers excellent fuel economy and allows the operator to work for extended periods without unnecessary production stoppages.
- The Alpha 6 box wedge wood splitter comes standard with a 5” American-made hydraulic cylinder, which has the power to split gnarly blocks with 58,905 pounds of splitting force. The firewood machine has an average cycle time of just 7 seconds, the result of the splitter's 22HP engine in combination with the regeneration manifold which allows the rod to extend from the cylinder more rapidly without requiring a greater pump flow.
- While other commercial-grade log splitters may offer similar splitting forces, the Box Wedge with floating auto-retract arm sets the Alpha 6 apart from the competition. The heavy-duty box wedge creates evenly-sized wood and the auto-retract arm pulls the un-split portion of the log back into the splitting chamber. This allows operators to burn through large blocks without re-handling. Our Box Wedges are available in three sizes, so operators can choose the right wedge for the job at hand.
- he best commercial log splitter features a hydraulic log lift and wedge lift. The log lift can handle 500 pound logs and can be installed on either side of the machine, to fit the needs of every project and location. The wedge lift raises and lowers the wedge with 8" of vertical range at the push of a lever, so users can center the wedge to different-sized logs without any manual effort or wasted time.
- The Alpha 6 industrial firewood splitter also features a 40" wide by 36" long sorting table. This table acts as a grate and funnel, containing split logs and readying them to move onto a wood conveyor or be stacked with minimal debris.

Box Wedge Advantages
Alpha 6 box wedge options feature our innovative floating auto-retract arm. This heavy-duty arm pulls un-split log portions back into the splitting chamber, minimizing operator re-handling. With three size options, this unique wedge style is designed to easily produce uniform-sized firewood.
Sell perfect cord wood, packages firewood, camp, and cooking wood with this box wedge log splitter.

Minimal Debris, Maximum Production
A 40” wide by 36” long table grate, constructed from heavy gauge pipe and American-made plate steel, comes standard with the Alpha 6 heavy-duty wood splitter. Not only does the table grate separate unwanted debris from split logs, but it also acts as a funnel, perfect for operations that use a conveyor as the next step in firewood production.

Hydraulic Wedge Lift
With 8” of vertical travel, the operator-controlled wedge lift allows for height adjustments, so you can continuously split logs of varying sizes without having to manually adjust the wedge height or change out the wedge altogether.

Load Large Blocks Without the Sweat
This plate steel constructed hydraulic log lift can handle logs up to 500 pounds with just the flick of a lever. Plus, the hydraulic log lift can be installed on either side of the heavy-duty wood splitter to match the operator's preference and/or the needs of specific projects.
If you can load it, the Alpha 6 box wedge firewood splitter will split it.

Dual Jack Stability
With a 12' long plate steel frame weighing 2,550 pounds, the Alpha 6 commercial wood splitter is built to take on any firewood splitting task for years on end. So, we didn't skimp when providing rigid stability for the heavy-duty box wedge log splitter.
With dual jacks, this heavy-duty log splitter isn't going anywhere. Just set up, split, keep splitting, and watch the revenue come in.

5" Hydraulic Cylinder
Timberwolf's Alpha 6 heavy-duty log splitter is equipped with a 5" hydraulic cylinder.
The 5" cylinder has a 3.5" rod and 26" stroke with a 7-second cycle time and 58,905 pounds of splitting force. It also has a 28 GPM pump flow driven by the 22 HP engine.
If you plan on splitting large blocks and want to maximize your cord output, the 5" cylinder is for you.

The Fastest Commercial Log Splitter
If you split wood more quickly, you will be able to split more wood over the course of time. This is basic math, but how do you split wood more quickly?
Well, a regeneration manifold is one way.
Now standardly equipped on the Alpha 6 box wedge wood splitter, the regen manifold drives a regeneration cycle that allows the rod to extend from the cylinder more rapidly while using the same pump flow.
